LIVECODING.TV  V2.5

We will release the Livecoding.tv v2.5 shortly. It is coming up with tons of features, and that’s why we want to update our loyal visitors early! The list of design changes coming up are big to do in one step so we broke v2.5 into  three sub-releases: I, II, III. Below are the main features that you will see live in the next update.

• New UX design: The Livecoding.tv website will see a complete overhaul in the user experience. Our designers have worked around the clock to ensure that UI is user-friendly. User experience is a key element for experiencing Live coding,  and that’s where the new design shines. We have also organized the whole website, enabling you to navigate freely on the site.  You can also view all the information about a programming language category by simply selecting a language.

• Chrome push notification: Livecoding.tv v2.5 update will see the inclusion of Chrome push notification. Now you can receive notifications from Livecoding.tv. All you need to do is enable the chrome push notification, and you are set! The notifications will alert you about any broadcasters that you have followed and anything that we think is worth sharing!

• Category content page: Our next update will include category content page. So. what is it all about? The category content page will contain all the information you can think about a particular programming language — be it JavaScript, Ruby or PHP. You can learn about a language’s history, the best tools to use for it, community support and much more. The image showcases information such as the books you can read, projects you can check out.

• User discovery engine: User discovery engine is a search engine that lets users find others based on the different search inputs. For example, if you are looking for a programming buddy to go live; you can just use the user discovery engine. It can also be used to find local users and set up a regional meet. The same user discovery engine can also be used to find programmers during traveling to different locations. To do a proper search, you need to enter information such as country or zip code. You can also select the language categories you want the broadcasters to be proficient in or find out the skill level a broadcaster have.   

• User profile: User profiles will be included in Livecoding.tv 2.5 update. The user profile will consist of all the information about the broadcaster. It acts as a landing page for others to explore you. Information such as languages you speak, your skills, employment history, education, and projects, etc. are part of the user profile.

• Recruiting Engine: Recruiting Engine is aimed at recruiters who are searching for new talent. As a Recruiter, you can select the keywords for the type of employee you are looking for, such as experience, expertise, hourly rate and much more. You can also find the best programming employees with narrowing down criteria for the type of programmer you want.

• Job board: You can also look for jobs on Livecoding.tv. The job board will provide jobs for you to apply.

• Pro Account: A pro account is where you will not see ads and will find ease to navigate through the website. You will have enhanced controls and opportunities. Such as exclusive right to download 100 videos, special emoticons, your videos will have four weeks longer storage and much more.

• Recruiter Account: As a Recruiter, you can now sign up and manage your account. We have provided best features that suit your need in your recruiter account. With Recruiter account, you can hire talent, post new jobs, and do a lot more!
