Livecoding.tv v1.15 – Portuguese Translation, Hire a Streamer & Pay, Playlists

We have just released the latest version, Livecoding.tv v1.15. The main new features are:

Tente Livecoding.tv em português! Livecoding.tv is now available in Portuguese! If your first language is Portuguese you can switch the site over now for a better experience.

You can find a little Brazilian flag in the footer which will allow you to switch over quickly to Portuguese.

We now have even easier access to the new Playlist feature as you can access it directly from the browse page. Playlists let you compile videos that go together. For example, if you were working on a mobile app over many sessions, you could compile all those sessions together for viewers to watch chronologically. We are still working to improve the Playlist feature so you can create, edit and delete playlists even easier.

So far, if you have received a donation, there has been no way to tell! Now any donations you receive will be displayed on your dashboard, under the Incoming Transactions tab. The Donations are still sent out manually every couple of weeks, but we should be able to automate this as well at some point.

Post your stream to Reddit directly from Livecoding.tv. With this feature, it is even easier to let your friends know when you go live. Simply head to the Notifications tab on your dashboard and click “Submit Channel to Reddit”.

With this release, we have made it even easier to find streamers and content you are interested in. On the right-hand side of the browse page, you can now find recommended content from the last 24 hours. The content will be tailored to your language preference, but you can also browse recommended content for other languages if you are interested, by clicking the drop-down arrow next to the language.

Finally, we have a revised Support page, as we now use Zendesk. You can now search for questions in the Knowledge Base and also Submit a ticket directly through the system.

Thats all for now! Let us know what you would like to see next on our Roadmap.
