Project Tutorial: How to create a Dungeon Looter Game in C#

Quixote is a regular broadcaster on LiveEdu. With 230 followers, he loves to share his game development knowledge. He is also a great fan of the dungeon looter games and Unreal Engine. With over 1000+ hrs streamed and three years of experience, he knows the ins and outs of game development. He has also released games on Steam.

The project that he will work on is “How to Create The Dungeon Looter Game.” This project is in TEACHING mode. It is a live and real-world project. This means that you can interact with the streamer and communicate with them directly using chat. Got stuck? Just go ahead and ask him questions.

What is the project about?

Creating a dungeon looter is not only fun but a rewarding way to improve your skills. In this project, Quixote will go through every basic lesson that you need to do so. To achieve simpler approach, he will use Unreal engine and cover the basics for the platform. He will also cover all the key concepts that will help you make your first game in Unity. Later in the course, he will cover the advanced topics which will build upon the basics.

The project is aimed at learners who want to start GameDev. Anyone who is also interested in learning Unreal engine or want to explore the world of game development can easily benefit from the course. To completely enjoy and learn at the same time, the viewer should have a basic understanding of computers. The course is perfect for complete beginners to get started with game development using the Unreal game engine.

Session 4: Building the game story and packaging

  • Introduction to the game story creation process
  • Packaging of the game and preparing it for the playtesting
